Some fashion-forward promo-pics for the new Kanye West album, '808's & Heartbreak', have hit the 'net over the weekend. You'll no doubt have noticed that they are as far away as possible from your typical Hip Hop cliches... no guns, no baggy jeans, no gold, no cap, no sportswear. He even goes as far as to wear a brooch in the shape of a broken heart!*
It sounds like the album will be equally as genre-defying... a labour of love with almost no rapping, 808 beats on EVERY TRACK and lots of Autotune-assisted singing (if rumours are to be believed, Kanye had to promise his label boss Jay-Z that he would put out another, more conventional album in April 09).
