Just a couple of weeks back I was singing the praises of Lanvin for their wearable, sleek trainers. Then I see these horrors, and wish I'd never said those nice things about them.-
These monsters are called the Pearl Ankle Sneaker. They retail at $985 and colette in Paris are stocking them. It's a shoe for a Pet Shop Boy. A shoe for people who look like women, but have a dinkle. They'll probably sell out in a day, bought by rich lunatics. If you see somebody wearing these in the street, walk away from them as fast as you can. They're probably very dangerous.
