London Police Mural - Amsterdam

The London Police were commissioned to throw this mural up in the centre of Amsterdam's historic Jordaan district. But things went quickly downhill...

Osang Gwon - Keane's new album art

Wow. I'm impressed.

Keane are getting incrementally cooler, due to moves like this one (plus, their music got better). Osang Gwon is a Korean artist, who has made an impact with his photo-sculptures. Essentially, he photographs every inch of a subject, and then places those images onto a polystyrene model to great effect. The above is a rendering of Tim from the band.

During his extended stay across the pond, he's opened a pet shop in New York. Not your average pet shop though... fish fingers swimming in a goldfish bowl, motorised Chicken Nuggets eating from a tray of McDonalds sweet and sour sauce, a rabbit checking her make-up, a baby web-cam looking up at it's 'mother', a large CCTV camera. Oddness.
