From James Cameron, who is either excellent (Terminator 2, Aliens) or shite (the Celine Dion, boat sinking film.... I refuse to type it's name in case a google search by an imbecile returns this blog as a result).

District 9 - Trailer
A UFO lands in Jo'burg, S.A. We decide to keep them prisoner. Of course we do...
This must be one long metaphor for the mistreatment of refugees in Africa. Probably.
"South Africa? But... you're black an alien?"

'Star Wars The Musical' to hit London
The NME are telling anyone who'll listen that a live-action show, fully co-signed by George Lucas, called 'Star Wars: A Musical Journey' will be hitting London next year. The London Philharmonic Orchestra will be on hand to play John Williams classic score throughout.*
At present, the 02 looks like the most likely venue, which means that the tickets will be expensive (although details of how much and where to get them have yet to be released).
*
And if you were wondering... yes, this post was purely an excuse to put that picture up.

The Day The Earth Stood Still 2008 - Trailer (Video)
The remake of the 1951 classic is on it's way. Here's a brief trailer.
The presence of Jennifer Connelly makes up for the presence of Keanu. Just.
Go to Trailer Addict to see an extended 5 minute trailer.

The end is nigh?

TR2N - Pirated Trailer (Video)
I make no apologies for the quality... It gets a lot better as the action kicks in.
This is a pirated trailer of Tron 2, due to be released in 2010 by Disney. The first is a classic, and just to see the same style of effects in use excites me more than it should.
