Liam was playing guitar backstage.
Noel criticised Liam's playing.
Liam threw his own guitar at Noel.
The guitar landed at Noel's feet.
Noel jumped up and down on it, laughing.
Liam realised he'd just smashed his own guitar.
Liam grabbed Noel's guitars and smashed them up.
Noel stopped laughing, Liam started.
Noel said 'fuck this' and got in a cab.

I'm looking forward to this flick. I bought my son the book last weekend, and I flicked through it. My initial thoughts were, firstly, how can Spike Jonze turn this into a 90 minute long feature? And secondly, how is he going to pitch it; purely as a kids film, or as a proper fantasy flick? I look forward to finding out, but one thing I do know is, it will be weird.

Vampire Weekend - Horchata mp3
New Vampire Weekend track, from the forthcoming album 'Contra' (Jan 11th release date for the UK). This track is called Horchata. It's stupidly silly, and ludicrously catchy. Very much business as usual for these fellas, then.
